Photojournalism has given my life direction. After 39 years at the Modesto Bee, I am teaching and mentoring photojournalism. I continue to l freelance editorial assignments for news organizations. Wildland firefighting photography is one of my specialties. Living near Yosemite National Park make it easy for me to cover the park in a moments notice.
