"You know the kinda crazy thing I just got done doing is going through all my foul weather gear for both myself and my camera gear.
I try to make sure everything's in order now instead of waiting the Tuesday BEFORE I go to Green Bay in November to make sure I have usable sock liners, head gear et al. Down here in Charlotte, you can get some decent deals on last year's Gortex while it's still too warm to think about the slopes. I also go through the AquaTech rain covers and make sure the eyepiece fits, etc.
I've Wisked all my polypropylene long underwear, glove liners and socks and have them ready to be dropped in a suitcase for the weekend.
Yeah ---I know it's topping 100 degrees in Charlotte today."
