Hanashiro to speak at San Diego ASMP gathering

Robert Hanashiro, founder/editor/publisher of the Sports Shooter Newsletter will be the featured speaker at the monthly meeting of the San Diego American Society of Media Photographers.
Hanashiro is a staff photographer with USA TODAY and his talk is entitled "Photojournalism: From A Sports Shooter's Perspective."
The presentation will showcase many of Hanashiro's sports photographs, as well as news photos, picture stories and portraits. He also will be discussing digital cameras and work flow issues.
Hanashiro also plans on showing the "Sports Shooter at the 2002 World Series" video.
The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 2308 Kettner Blvd. Ste. C and is also open to non-ASMP photographers and students.
Registration is 6:30 pm and the program starts at 7 pm.
ASMP members $5 with reservations, $10 non-members with reservations, $5 students with reservations and student ID, $2 more at the door.
