Sports Shooter Contest open judging details announced

Ever see the results of a contest and say to yourself "What the F**K were those idiot judges thinking???!!!"
Now you have your chance to do just that on Feb. 7 in Southern California.

The first Sports Shooter Speakers Bureau event will be an open session for the judging of the Annual Sports Shooter Contest. You will be able to view entries and hear the comments of the judges as they decide the winners in 6 categories.
Shouting, laughing, insults, ridicule and name-calling is to be expected ... and that's just between the judges as they throw Krispy Kremes at each other!
Deanne Fitzmaurice from the San Francisco Chronicle and Rick Rickman from NewSport were recently added to the hand-picked group assembled by Sports Shooter's Robert Hanashiro. Also Lightware was added to the list of sponsoring companies.
Other judges include: Peter Read Miller, Sports Illustrated; Wally Skalij, Los Angeles Times; Ronal Taniwaki, Nikon Professional Services Branch Manager; and Bay Area freelance photographer Brad Mangin.
The event will be hosted by Nikon at it's Torrance, CA facilities. The contest judging will begin promptly at 7:30 pm.
You must make a reservation to attend and space is limited. To attend the open judging session of the Annual Sports Shooter Contest, you must either be a newsletter subscriber or a member in good standing of the SportsShooter.com web site.
To reserve you place at the contest judging, spend an email to contest2002@sportsshooter.com. In the "Subject" field of the email, type in "Reservation" and in the body of the email, fill in your name, who you work for or the school you attend, a valid email address and a phone number. You will receive a confirmation of your reservation beginning Jan. 17.
