Sports Illustrated For Kids Searches for Great Basketball Pictures
Monthly magazine in search of terrific picture for year-end issue

Sports Illustrated For Kids is searching for a great basketball picture from 2002 to run in their year-end issue.
The following is from picture editor Greg Payan:
"Obscurity doesn't matter - Women's, men's, college, NBA, WNBA or international are fine. We need a great photo of something well composed that was more of a right place, right time kind of shot than a gorgeous photo. I've seen a ton of gorgeous dunks, blocks, passes, etc. I would love something unique, via angle of shot or circumstance. Don't be offended if I don't respond. Image will run in the January 1, 2003 issue of SI For Kids, circ. 900,000. Payment will depend on size that image runs, usually between $200-$500."
Make a low-res file of your picture that you would like to submit to Greg. All submissions should be RGB color, 8" x10" at 72 DPI, jpeged at medium quality.
DO NOT SEND A LARGE FILE
It is very cool that Greg is offering to look at all of our pictures so we don't want to fill his mail box with lots of mediocre images.
Deadline is Tuesday, November 12, 2002.
