The Quest for 62
By John Biever, Sports Illustrated

(Home run) #61 made a much better picture.

I think Mac thought #62 was a double at best. There wasn't any posing, watching it fly out as there was on #61.And don't home runs make boring pictures anyway?

The most fun I had at Busch Stadium wasn't on the field - it was under the rightfield stands, where the press conferences took place.

Monday before the Cubs-Cards game, Sosa and McGwire held a joint press conference. It was a real feel-good-about-baseball and especially these two guys time.

I don't even mean the pictures made, but rather the good feelings emanating from it. As far as conditions, MLB (Major League Baseball) did a good job organizing it, in my opinion, although Busch Stadium security people were over zealous and got on the field and in our way while Mac was rounding the bases, etc.
