Think Tank, liveBooks Sponsor Top Prizes for Sports Shooter Academy IX

Think Tank Photo, along with liveBooks, will be providing the top awards for Sports Shooter Academy IX.

Sports Shooter Academy IX, THE coolest sports photography event of the year, got even cool with the help of several of the leading companies in the photography industry.

The top photographers at SSA IX will receive awards sponsored by Think Tank Photo and liveBooks. At the conclusion of each workshop, the top photographs voted by the SSA faculty are recognized during the final editing session. Think Tank and liveBooks will be providing products for the photographers whose images are deemed the best during the 4-day sports photography workshop.

As previously announced, Nikon, the SSA's primary sponsor, will be funding the tuition of college and university students accepted into the workshop.

Other companies supporting SSA IX, which will be held April 26 - 29, 2012 in Southern California, are: Samy's Camera, PocketWizard and HonlPhoto.

Nikon is also providing technical support, on-site personnel and loaner equipment --- including their latest professional digital cameras, lenses, speedlights and accessories --- for workshop participants to use during their shoots. PocketWizard and HonlPhoto will also be providing loaner gear. Samy's Camera will be on site, offering participants special pricing on equipment.
