One of my favorite images from the Beijing Olympics is of Usain Bolt during the victory lap of the men's 4x 100M relay. I was at the opposite end of the finish line photographing the pole vault when I made the photo of Usain Bolt rolling on the ground laughing with the crowd during his celebration. It was shot with a Nikon D3 and a 200-400mm lens.
The photo of the gold medal match of Benjamin Kleibrink of Germany (left) won the gold medal beating Yuki Ota of Japan in Men's Individual Foil on Tuesday August 13, 2008, in the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing, China. I used a Nikon D3 70-200mm lens and the multiple exposure feature on the camera. A big experiment during the gold meal match. I tried this a few times during the match and then made a non-multiple exposure photo of the match.
