WHNPA Dinner Announced

Below is information on the May 8th White House News Photographers Association dinner in Washington DC. Invitations are in the mail, but in case your name was missed, I wanted you to have the skinny.

The Eyes of History Gala, May 8, 1999
Fact Sheet:
Where: The National Building Museum, 401 F ST., NW Washington DC

Schedule of events:
6:30-8:00 PM Reception, East Hall
8:00-9:45 PM Dinner and awards presentations, Great Hall. Hosted by Al Franken.
10:00-midnight Dancing and desserts (Big Band swing provided by Radio King Orchestra)

Valet parking will be available at the National Building Museum for $10. Parking provided by Unipark Valet. Cabs companies have also been alerted and will be available.

Members and their guest: $100 per ticket Non Members: $150 per ticket. Corporate Tables seat 10, and are $1500 per table. BLACK TIE

-We will do our best to accommodate all requests, however each organization, including sponsors, will receive one table in the front section. Members will also be seated as close to the front as possible.
-Tickets are limited to the first 1000 seats. All tickets must be paid when reserving seats.
-Deadline on all ticket sales will be April 15, 1999.
-Names to be listed in the seating chart must be faxed to 202-333-7898 by April 15, 1999. No changes will be allowed after that date.

Special hotel accommodations are available at The Grand Hyatt 202-582-1234. Please tell the reservations operator you are with The White House News Photographers' Association. The Hyatt is located approximately 6 blocks from the Building Museum. Deadline April 15.
