Bob Galbraith's (Ap) fabulous image of Athletic's centerfielder Ryan Christenson making a leaping catch in left-center, with his shadow mirroring the action during last Saturday's second game of a twin bill against Detroit. The late afternoon light in the Bay Area certainly can't be beat. It ran in the SJ Mercury and if you have access to the Ap's rerun web site, just run a search under Bob's name, Athletics and the date, 8/22/98. Also, it was digital!
