Painting with Light

Dave Black teaches at the 2003 Sports Shooter Workshop and Luau.

This will be my 3rd Luau and I am REALLY ready for this one. ... SIX SHIRTS ! I hope to really convey something unique about lighting that students can grasp and apply instantly to their profession.

Light painting is my passion and outlet for my artistic style of photography. I am looking forward to teaching this technique and capturing a great image in the process during the demonstration.

But, more important, I am excited about seeing how the three students, who will be selected at random from the audience, will do when given the opportunity to take the stage and light paint our model.

As they say in Vegas .... "Live Entertainment is the BEST Entertainment" I look forward to seeing you all at this year's Workshop and Luau. Remember, bring a clean flash card to this breakout session ... you could be selected to Light Paint ... LIVE!
