Crooked horizon-line "artsy" picture of Club Mallard's exterior. I thought about turning it black and white to complete the artistic effect, but then decided against it.

I just read that the average child can be expected to speak about fifty words at age two. Interesting, huh?
On June 21, 2004, SportsShooter.com will be two whole years old, and a few days before we reach this ripe old age (isn't that 14 in dog/Internet years?), we're going to have ourselves a little celebration. You're invited.
Last year's wildly successful anniversary party was held at Club Mallard, in Albany, California. Nothing was broken, no bar fights were started, no cops were called, no complaints called in because of 'excessively loud chimping noises', and there was even pizza left over.
So this year, we're having the party at the same place. You should come.
June 19th at Club Mallard, in Albany, California.
Just like last year, we've rented out the entire upstairs again. This area is the primo space inside of Club Mallard. It is so popular that we could only reserve it for our exclusive use up until 10pm - when the general public/regulars can (and will) join us.
We will have pizza - and we will probably over-order (again). We will have beverage coupons (drink tickets) for members. We will have full and exclusive access to the Mallard's upstairs area, which includes two pool tables and an outside smoking area. Many of us will bring cameras to what might be the biggest 'Fun Pix' shooting-spree of the year.
Club Mallard is listed in 'The Guide':
http://www.sportsshooter.com/theguide.html?action=view&type=place&id=1335
But for you non-members, the address is:
752 San Pablo Ave.
Phone: 510-524-8450
There is parking. Street parking along San Pablo, and the surrounding neighborhood. There's also a parking lot across the street you can use. (Next to the Funeral Home. No joke.)
Club Mallard has a website:
http://www.clubmallard.com
If you're driving, take Interstate 80 to the 'Buchanan Street' exit, and drive in the opposite direction of the San Francisco Bay. When you get to San Pablo Ave, turn left. Follow San Pablo for a few block, and you'll see Club Mallard on the left.
We've got the upstairs reserved for us from 7pm-10pm. After that, the rest of Albany will join us.
This year, Jack Gruber might actually be in attendance, and you wouldn't want to miss that, now, would you?
And finally, here's some always-useful advice: If you are driving and plan to consume adult beverages, please DO NOT DRIVE home. Have someone pick you up, sleep at the bar or on the sidewalk, but do NOT drive after drinking.
