Five SportsShooter.com members to speak in San Francisco
Fitzmaurice, Meyer, Pfleger, Stanton and Mangin to be joined by Michael Zagaris

Everyone is invited to the San Francisco Bay Area Press Photographers Association's "PhotoNight" with five SportsShooter.com members at 7pm, Wednesday, December 3 at the San Francisco Exposure Gallery.
The members who will be speaking include: Deanne Fitzmaurice, San Francisco Chronicle; Nhat Meyer, San Jose Mercury News; Mickey Pfleger, freelance; Martha Jane Stanton, San Francisco Giants and Brad Mangin, freelance. They will be joined by San Francisco-based artist Micheal Zagaris. The Z-Man has been the team photographer for both the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Athletics since 1979.
The photographers will tell stories (especially Zagaris), show work and talk about the business of sports photography.
The San Francisco Exposure Gallery is a wonderful new gallery operated by Rick Rocamora and Kim Komenich. It is a non-profit venue for issue-based documentary photography that opened in March of 2003. The gallery is located in downtown San Francisco near Moscone Center at 801 Howard (near the corner of 4th Street across from the Moscone Center).
SFBAPPA's "PhotoNight" is a very casual get together. It's a pot luck - so bring something to share to eat. Drinks provided.
