'Hand of God': Good or bad?
Now that we've come out of the darkroom, what's acceptable today?

The controversy following the recent revocation of Charlotte Observer staff photographer Patrick Schneider's awards in a regional photojournalism competition set off a fire storm of opinions and comments about the ethics of manipulating contest images.

Sports Shooter asked several photographers their opinions and concerns about this issue. Schneider, who was invited to contribute, declined the offer.
