| ->> Looks like they're on track to miss their March 8 release date. Oh well...it's not a huge deal, but I'm certainly interested to see what the new version has to offer. |

->> I own a Mac and Windows license and version 4 for windows is hands down a better interface that version 3 for Mac.
To be honest I taken a liking to the browser in Photoshop CS and depending on how much they want for the upgrade I just might bail on them.
Oh yea t-minus 25 min and nothing on their site. |

->> Having used PhotoMechanic since the beginning (actually maybe even before the beginning!) ... this update takes it to another level.
This is very, very, very cool.
Great job Dennis! We'll be pounding on it hard this week to see if there are any bugs ... and thanks for the spell checker!

->> YES!! It's defiantly very cool.
The spell checker alone is worth the price of the upgrade. They also changed the hideous icon to boot, nice job, cant' wait for the finial version. |

->> Wow, fun program, It looks like it automatically took my previous registration number and upgraded itself for me...
The only thing that caught me off guard was the new tag command. When you're previewing your images one at a time, the command is no longer command-T, it is now just T. Just an FYI...took me a while to figure it out.
I love the new toggle options...and the variable contact sheet size.
So far so good!

| ->> Is anyone having trouble applying the VARIABLES in the caption info window. It seems like I can not add any varaiables to the caption window, there is NO PASTE button like in v3. Maybe this is just a trial thing....I guess when the FULL version is realeased it will work fine. Nice interface...I find it much FASTER?????? |

And now caption info entered in PM shows up in iView which means I will definitely be buying this.

->> Sweet! I love spell checkers, Lord knows I need it most days. The interface is really easy to use (as was V3.0), hopefully I can dig into it later aand get my work flow going faster.
I wonder what FotoStation v5.0 is going to be like on Mac. |

->> I've been beta-testing the new Mac version for the past two weeks - it's pretty solid - I found only one small bug and they fixed it the same day. The look and feel is really nice, and they fixed a few things about the Windows version I didn't like.
Way to go Camerabits! |

| ->> What about adding VARIABLES to the CAPTION window. Is there a PASTE BUTTON, am I doing something wrong????? Just can not seem to get the choices to enter into the caption window in the IPTC pad |

| ->> Jeffrey- Open up the IPTC info window and click once in the caption field to make sure the curser is in there, then click on the variable button. It slides out the variables drawer. To add the variable just double click on the one you want and it is inserted automatically into the field. |

| ->> Lot neat things you can do with PM4. Under preferences, you can change the color layout and look. Option double click will open your photo in an editting program. you have to first set it up in the preferences. |
