What's your favorite new feature of Photoshop CS?

->> I'm doing the 30 day free trial, and I wondering what new features (that weren't in Photoshop 7.0) you have now decided you can't live without.

->> ACR 2.0 and the File Browser make life sooooo much easier. I like the Shadow/highlight recovery, but I don't use it very much.

Editing everything in 16-bit though is huge. I only convert to 8-bit right before I transmit.

->> Ability to multi caption 16 bit Tiffs using templates in file browser, something my Fotostation Pro could never do; other than one image at a time and re-saving)

Tested the new Fotostaion Pro 5 and this can't handle multi captioning of 16 bit Tiffs, shameful for a dedicated product at over £450.00 +. "Good on yer Adobe for making my life a lot easier".

Shadow highlight feature subtly used with masks is excellent for bringing out shadow detail.

->> In addition to what was mentioned above, the crop proportion switch button! When editing 400 high school wrestling photos that have to be 35mm in proportion for my Shutterfly site, the feature makes it extremely simple to swap your crop tool's proportions from horizontal to vertical or vice versa. It's one of the most simplistic new features in the program, but when I first started using CS, I thought, "Man, why didn't anyone think of this earlier?!"

Also the new file browser is nice to preview photos, although I don't like it better than Photo Mechanic. It is quicker and has more usability. I'm very happy with the program!

->> highlight/shadow recovery is definitely up there. I believe that this feature along with the coming 1D MII will be the real end of medium format for many still shooting film... The ability to recover highlight areas from portraits lit with large banks is awesome...

->> ditto, the highlight/shadow feature is outstanding. I've been slowly going through my pre CS out-takes to see if I can salvage a few image that were other wise unusable.

The Browser and ACR 2.0 is a big improvement over version 7
