When you pull pictures off the wire, they have a standard set of info fields; does that mean that there is a program that the AP has created with these fields built in? I use a general one on all the photos and then use the file info in photoshop to change anything before sending the photo. In photoshop you can create an "action" which will do most of the work for you with a single key stroke. The information refers to Photoshop 5.5 which is the international standard for header information. Some of the older systems being used outside North America cannot handle the changes in header placement in Photoshop 6 and above. Especially CS with new xml inclusions. Nikon View doesn't re-jpeg the image when you use the IPTC fields. There are a few other programs, which also allow you to write in the IPTC fields without have the software re-jpeg.
