Photo Mechanic question
Kirk Irwin, Photographer
Boulder | CO | USA | Posted: 11:14 PM on 12.09.03
->> I just downloaded the photo mechanic demo, and want to know how to import photos. Is there something I need to drop into photo mechanic (i.e. card reader), or do I drop photo mechanic into a different folder? Is there an import function I need to set up? I have never used this program before, anything will help. Thanks.

->> Kirk, you can either drag a folder of images on the PM icon, or if the images are still on the CF card you can "ingest" them.

Ctrl G on PC
Apple G on Mac

->> You can also simply make a new folder on your desktop, and drag the photos from the CF card to the folder, then open the folder in PM.

I find this is the easist was too transfer files from a CF card to the desktop.
