->> I found this program called SWF n' Slide on VersionTracker. I'm no flash guru (nor do I want to be) so its perfect for me. You drop a folder of toned images, pick an audio file, choose some transitions, put in captions, hyperlinks, text, etc, and in less than a minute you have a full-on flash slideshow. REALLY cool stuff for those of us that don't want to mess with scripting and such. Check it out.

The demo has full funtionality, but throws "demo" across all the photos till you purchase the key ($50) |

->> Thanks for the tip, it's great stuff! Real easy to use and pretty flexible with cool transitions and buttons. I'm definitely buying the full version for $50.
Roger, the download page has options for windows or mac, so go get it! |

| ->> Anyone know of a good alternative to Pro Tools 6 for editing audio on OSX? It would be a nice little combo with this program for multimedia pieces. |

->> IF you're looking for simple audio (two channels w/ ability to fade in and out) then iMovie does a really good job. Plus it's free, easy to use, and you can export to any QuickTime-compatiable format (which is nearly anything).
This program's very cool, btw. |

->> Yeah I have used iMovie a couple times for really quick stuff, but I am looking for a little more control. Pro Tools for OS 9 is perfect (and free) but I don't want to pay over 100 for the OSX version.
So who will be the first to use this slideshow app for their SS.com gallery? |

| ->> Apple has this great app called soundtrack that sells for $299. It allows you to build your own royalty free audio tracks for use in iMovie, final cut or any other outlet that you might have. You can even sell the songs that you produce. You can check it out at: www.apple.com/soundtrack |

| ->> Yeah thats a good program too, but I am looking to edit audio that I capture with my mini-disc for documentary work. I can't wait to play with soundtrack at somepoint though, it comes with final cut 4 |
