->> Is there a way to create a droplet / action to add copyright info to digital images in PS7 or Photo Mechanic?
I'm typing it in each time and I'm sure I've missed something, as there has to be an easier way. FYI I'm using Mac OSX..
Thanks in advance,
Phil |

| ->> Create an action with all of the steps you want to achieve in your final product. Once that runs correctly you can automate the process with a droplet. Do your normal tone and image preparation and when your finished drop your folder of images on the droplet and let it create the copyright that you created in the action. Check out the PS help files some good info in there |

| ->> Im assuming you are just trying to add your name, event, date, copyright info, etc right? If so photomechanic allows you to save a template that you can pull up and apply it to a ton of images at once. Not sure how to do it off the top of my head, but it's pretty easy. I think its somewhere in the box where you insert the copyright info, you just save the file and you can load it in later. |

->> To do it in PhotoMechanic you use the IPTC Stationary Pad (Apple+I). Open the pad, fill out the basic information you'd like to add every time, then click save. (The best thing about PM is that you can use different "variables" in the pad. Check out the variables to get the most out of the program.)
Now when you're ready to apply that basic information to a bunch of photos, simply highlight/select them in the PM browser window, open the IPTC Pad, click "load" and load the saved .IPT file, then click Apply to Selected.
Let us know if you have any other questions or if I didn't do a good enough job of explaining all that! |

->> Thanks Kevin, and others.. I wasn't selecting all the images I wanted to apply this info to...
That's the "trick"..
I really liked this program before, and thanks to some SS members now can make much better use of it.
Thanks again,
Phil |

| ->> In PS 7 if you go to file > automate > batch You can run any action on an entire folder. |
