->> Does anyone know how long a Canon 1D will stay powered up while using a Pocket Wizard pretrigger cord and either the 30 or 60 watt Digital Camera Battery?

->> Okay - maybe that wasn't enough information. It'll be for basketball and I'm looking to get no more than 100 shutter actuations in a 3 - 4 hour time span. Can a Digital Camera Battery handle that on a single charge?

->> That depends on where the camera is mounted. It's easy in some spots, not so easy in others.

->> That's your best bet. What spot is it not so easy in? 200ft of cord should be able to AC power any basketball remote, unless its mounted on the jumbotron.

Any spot where they don't want cords to be. I don't own any arenas - I just work in them.

Not to be unappreciative, but I did post this question to get specific answers (facts) about battery use. I'm not really interested in opinions on the matter.

->> Gary, calm the heck down man. I've used a 30 watt Digital Camera Battery for a 9 to 10 hour day, a wedding, to power my '1D and didn't run the Dit. Battery dry. Hope that helps.
