| ->> Has anyone shot this in recent years? I did the in 2002, the year Carson Palmer won. AT the time it was held at the Yale Club in NY City. it was one the second-floor and the photographers had to wait on the 17th floor and each of the 5 finalists was brought up individually to speak to the media. Has that changed? Do the now allow photographers into the actual room where the trophy is presented? |

Last time I shot it was a couple of years ago when Christian McCaffrey was our candidate from Stanford. It was at the Best Buy theater in Manhattan, and there was media availability before a presentation ceremony with the candidates and the trophy, both individually and together, which took place at the neighboring Marriott Marquis hotel. The actual event was closed to photographers, except for the official Heisman organization photographer. Hope this helps! |
