| ->> Is the Blackrapid Double Breathe worth the investment? I have only used traditional straps but I'm intrigued with the double harnesses. I'm a big guy, would it fit? Does it keep my gear safe? |

| ->> I've been using this setup for 4 years and I like it. It's convenient for working with two cameras and is comfortable. It also takes the weight off my shoulders and I can work longer. As far as keeping your gear safe; that's up to you. It certainly is secure. I've never had a camera come loose. I absolutely recommend Black Rapid. |

| ->> Thanks, David. Does it pull on your neck or choke you at all? |

| ->> I've used the Double Breathe, but felt the cameras would swing forward if bending over. Also you need to have two cameras attached to maintain balance of the rig on your shoulders. Now my black rapid double is one of the older models o maybe they have made improvements. I moved on to the Hybrid Breathe or I should say an older model of that type. It works better for me and is easier to remove and put back on. The new model looks like they have made some improvements. |

->> I've used the older Double for a while now. I don't like how it feels when you lift one camera... the other tends to pull the strap to one side, so I may give the hybrid a try.
But what I really wanted to comment on is the fit for big guys. I use a ton of different black rapid straps and I am a big guy. I am really happy with the fit. When I feel I need to, I can always add the "Bert" strap for some extra length. |

->> It's a great setup. Definitely, the best I've used.
I had an old Lowe-pro waistbelt setup 10 years ago – that thing was fine but not the freedom of BR.
Cameras can collide if you bend forward but you just have to be aware when doing so.
I love the clamps on the straps to restrict how far your tethered equipment can travel.
Definitely worth your money IMHO. |
