Canon 400 f/2.8 II in the LA area

->> Hey guys - one of my FBLA students qualified for the National Leadership Conference to be held in Anaheim this Summer in the area of Sales Presentation. Of course, being one of my students, his sales presentation is based upon him selling cameras and lenses.
He is ok to fly with the various bodies and smaller lenses, but it's going to cost us about $600 to ship our 400 f/2.8 II out to the conference and back.
My question is, what is the best place to find to rent the lens for a couple days in the LA area, OR.... or.... is there anyone that would let a poor high school student and his adviser borrow one for about two days while in the LA area??? He performs on Friday, June 30 and if he moves on, he would perform as well on Saturday, July 1.
Any suggestions please... and go... |

| ->> Kyle, have you talked to Canon? Maybe CPS can help out for a day or two. I would also consider taking the 400 in a sling bag as carry on. That is what I did with mine for many many years and never had a problem, even on the smaller RJs |
