Travelers was great because you could make (4) installment payments over Lloyd’s of London asking for all of it up front. That's FULL replacement coverage plus a liability policy. Not many companies offer full replacement. Most offer a downward sliding depreciating cost. If you go with a depreciating type policy, just remember to adjust the value of your gear DOWNWARD every year. That way you can move the premium lower and not over pay. I have more than $40k in gear, but just wanted the "big" stuff covered, along with the liability policy. That keeps the premium palatable. My local agent handling this is quite experienced with photographers. Ask for Diane at the Miller Agency in Fayetteville, NY. They have written for photog's in NYC.
