->> I have been looking at starting to upgrade my D3s's. Been trying to decide if I want to go to the D4s or just jump to the D5. Although I have been hearing that LR is having issues processing D5 and D500 RAW images. Not sure if its an issue with old software meets new camera. Or software ot up to the task, or even users error. Does any one that has either of these body's have any thoughts? Or even if you have either of these bodies and use LR. |

->> I've had my D5 for a couple months and processed thousands of images in Lr with no issues. Using Lr CC on a Mac. Went from D3s to D4s to D5. I wondered how they could improve each one but they keep doing it. D4s is a nice upgrade on the 3s too but the D5 rocks! |

->> I also don't have any issues processing D5 images with Lightroom. I needed to update my version, but everything was fine after that.
I jumped from the D3 to the D4s and was astounded by the quality difference, especially at high iso.
When I got the D5 the improvement wasn't quite as drastic, but I was only going up one model. With the prior upgrade I skipped the D3s and D4.
Bottom line, when I used to grab a camera I always reached for the D4s rather than the D3. Now that I'm shooting with the D5 and D4s, I just grab either one. |
