Canon 1Dx - Transmit via FTP and Lock images?

->> I have a need to transmit images in real time from the sideline AND be able to track which images I've submitted to exclude from my second edit.
I'm using the following setup.
1Dx with ethernet connection to a camranger which ic connected to a WiFi network.
FTP configured within the 1Dx and effectively just using the Camranger for an internet connection.
While there is not a file upload in progress I'm able to "tag" (lock) images using the camera with no issues. But when an image us transmitting whenever I try to tag an image, instead of being tagged, it is added to the transmit queue.
The WiFi connection can be slow at times and it can take up to a minute to transmit an image.
Has anyone experienced this and identified a workaround?
Thanks in advance.

With the Camranger, can you select a specific image to be sent without sending all of your images. Essentially, I would like to select the image and send to FTP server via wireless on iPad with only having to send the image from back of camera without having to touch iPad.
I don't know if that makes sense, but interested in Camranger or other product to do so. Need for football/field sports. I am tethered to FTP server directly thru ethernet cord/ports for basketball. |
