->> I have a transcend 256 25x compact flash card and need to recovery some images on the card...How to do I go about that?...Anyone have any idea's, these are images from the World Series and I would hate to lose them...I am running Mac OS 9.2 if that helps. Also you can see the images fine in photo mechanic, but when try to open them it comes up with an error sign or corrupt sign... I was able get all the images off except for 7 or so from the card...

->> Chris, I looked at datarescue's site and it only supports Mac OS X and higher not OS 9.2 unless I am missing something. I like Keith am still running OS 9.2 and not X I have not been able to find a data rescue software that supports OS 9.2 if I'm missing the link on the site let me know, would like to have this for future.

->> As always ... the answer is right here at Sports Shooter!

Just run a search through the Sports Shooter Archives for "Photo Rescue" and you'll come up with a story from early this year by USA Today's Bob Deutsch on disk recovery.

He has a run through on using Photo Rescue for both OSX (which is easier) and OS 9 (this is *very* involved, but really works).

If you can't upgrade to OSX or don't have Virtual PC, you might find a friend or colleague that has.

There are not many options for people running Macs and OS9.
