| ->> I'm not sure I've ever seen a camera that has "aged" like that, but I guess if it works for blue jeans it'll work for Leica? |

->> I had a typo. It's $24,500.
Sorry. The blood had rushed from my head as I rushed to grab my wallet to order a few sets. |

->> The enjoyable thing with a good pair of jeans, though, is getting them new and letting them break-in. Well-broken-in jeans should be "made" by the owners experiences - not purchased that way.
If you desire a brassed, worn-in, well-traveled camera, get one that's not and make it so by actually using it. Price aside, buying a camera that gives off the impression that you've broken it in through years of work and experience is lame.
However, if the market's there, think I can sell an old, nicely-brassed Nikon F3 for $25K? |

| ->> And, it's really cheesy that they deeply brassed the area on the body where a film Leica's film advance arm would be. If your digital Leica wears down that much maybe you're chimping a bit too much! |

| ->> At least the other recently-announced "Safari" green limited edition kit actually comes with a small discount compared to purchasing all the items individually. I guess that's because you don't need to pay for them to use, er, distress your camera for you. |

| ->> I just read the article David linked "the real deal ..." and I think the artificial wearing is more of an homage to the history of the product than an attempt to imitate or mis-represent. It's for fans of photography rather than photographers. |
