Does the flash tend to swivel on those strait flash mounting plates? Seems after a while the screw would loosen on the bottom of the body going from horizontal to vertical. |

->> Jeffrey --- I primarily shoot the awards shows themselves in the theater and not in the corrals of photographers along the red carpet.
My credentials for the SAGs and the Academy Awards do allow me to roam and shoot on the red carpet. What I look for in that situation are moments rather than the posed stuff the red carpet photographers want. I am using all available light so my images look less posed and more natural. I really can't tell you much about the assorted do-dads the red carpet shooters use for their one-camera strobes.
There are many brackets they use and I suspect they all pivot to allow them to shoot verticals and horizontals. |
