Help Please...Images missing from card

->> I have a new Lexar 256 WA card. When I try to view the photos with Photo Mechanic, some are not there. Just blank squares with a frame number. Then when I try to just copy the images from the card to my hard drive using the browser I get error messages and it stops after moving a few photos. All the frames show up in the camera and in Photoshop. I did not fill the card and on Sunday, they all showed up. But now they are disappearing. Any ideas.

Thanks

->> Ian-- to use the Lexar software you are going to need the Jumpshot cable -- I learned this because my 1gb card started acting possessed the other day and though I had the software, I didn't have the cable! Even after securing the cable, using the software "recovered" the images, but I wasn't able to access anything other than tiny thumbnails. I ended up using Photorescue Wizard ($29) http://www.datarescue.com/ and it did the trick... I have a note into Lexar asking them to explain how come their software couldn't recover the files while the 3rd party download did it... best of luck. Jason Grow

->> Thanks guys. I tried the Jumpshot but same problem. One of the files had 0k of info. I deleted the "blank" frames and was able to move the rest off the card. I re-formatted the card and will do some test shots.
