->> In the wake of the sad and brave news about Coach Summit, I wonder what people's favorite images of her are. It's hard to imagine a face more fierce and uncompromising. To me, the March 2, 98 S.I. cover by Lynn Johnson is a classic. Others?

->> I feel like I've been kicked in the gut or something...honestly feel like it's a member of my family or something, she is that much a part of this community.
Last year I covered the Lady Vols quite a bit, and normally sat in the corner where she came out onto the court. A lot of the times they have a bunch of kids there, and I was struck by how much time she would spend with the kids...saw assistant coaches have to come "get" her while she was engaged with the kids. 2 minutes later, you can count on getting the classic "Pat Stare" during the game.
Think I'll go through and find some of the photos of her and the kids.
As a side note, there's a big Facebook event promoting wearing orange to support her today (Friday), it has over 37,000 attendees right now.
