->> Hey everyone,
I just want to inform you that this Friday August 5th, Brad Mangin will be speaking at the Adobe pop up store in SF.
550 Sutter Street San Francisco CA 94102
He will be speaking from 5pm to 7pm.
The full schedule of the Adobe is here.

I was fortunate to listen to Robert Seale's talk when he came to speak at the store last week. It was an amazing presentation of all his work, and he was very inspiring.
Therefore, I am hoping to see some of the sports shooters there this Friday for Brad's talk. |

| ->> Question on these seminars; The Russell Brown session shows as an 8 hour seminar. Is it one seminar for 8 hours or 8 one-hour sessions repeated? The details don't reflect a lot of subject matter that would appear to fill an 8 hour time slot. |

| ->> Sorry Phil, I am not too sure, from my understanding, I think he is just there, and people drop in to listen anytime they want. |

| ->> Yes, but being required to make a reservation indicates a structured seminar of some sort. |

| ->> Phil- there is no structure for Dr. Brown. They simply do that to get a guess on a head count. All you need to do is drop in. I have been there several times. |

| ->> For all of you on the fence about going to this event, just go. Brad is one of the best baseball photographers on the planet (although I hear the Chinese are selecting 6-year olds and putting them into baseball photography camps in order to eventually compete at the world level). Brad is a very entertaining speaker -- you will laugh and you will learn a ton not only about photography, but about the life of a top-level shooter. Ask him how much money he's made off of Stan Javier photos and maybe, just maybe, Brad's head will just explode. |

->> I'm in LA this week, someone please post a video here.
Brad set me straight during a one-on-one interview about ten years ago and it was the best butt whooping a student could get. I assume he will show a lot of World Series images Friday, but if you can get him going on a rant about how freelance sports photography has changed it will be very eye opening. |

->> Thanks for all the message board love! I am super excited about tomorrow night's presentation. I have already been to this cool Adobe venue twice- to see both Seale and Corey Rich speak. It is an amazing experience where you can learn so much from incredible resources like Dr. Brown and others- for FREE.
I am still finishing up my presentation and it should be fun. We will be giving away 10 signed prints (courtesy of Adobe and Canon) and two signed copies of "Worth The Wait" from the box on the floor in my hallway.
I hope to see you there!
