what's disturbing is that media news group is participating. what about captions? what about ethics, eg. the nppa code? what about quality? i guess these things are irrelevant in this brave new media world of ours.

| ->> If you take the description at face value it is nothing more than a visual way to call in a tip to a news outlet. Yesterday a person seeing a major wreck on the road might call a paper to give them a heads up. Tomorrow they can just snap a photo of the wreck and post it to a map. The news outlet monitoring the map makes a decision to deploy news assets or not. I don't see this as providing content per se. |
