->> Well, this lighting designer thinks the video is very creative. Doing this with concert lighting gear is actually fairly straightforward with the appropriate media server software. Driving the cameras (or at least the flash units atop them, not sure which) took a bit more thought to pull off.

I still think it is pretty cool. It seems to be more an exercise in "what if" and "how can we do this?" Sometimes superfluousness is fun.
