On June 22, 2011, 36 of LTP's (Literacy Through Photography's) digital cameras were stolen. Those cameras help Fotofest bring year-round programming to low-income schools and communities in Houston. They are hoping to raise $4,000 to replace each one.
LTP is an important community program in Houston that I have had the pleasure in being involved with in the past, and hopefully in years to come. I thought I would post this here in case any members might be able to help out the program with donations.
I'm not sure if LTP might be accepting tangible donations of items or not, but it might be worth asking them.
