->> A cool story about Scott Andrews' work shooting numerous Shuttle launches. A great example of where patience, homework and gaining trust pays off. Great time lapse piece as well.

->> Scott Andrews is one of the most helpful and smartest people in the industry - many iconic images of Space Launches, Presidential Inaugurations, horse races and more would not have been possible without his work behind the scenes, rarely taking any credit or byline.

->> Amazing! Wish my shuttle photos came anywhere close to Scott's!
Lobe how he used geophones as triggers. Genius. Wonder how this geophone setup was put together.

->> If you have a couple of mis to kill and are interested here's my stop action/tilt shift video I made of the launch. I decided for fun to mount the Canon G12 to a Manfrotto flex arm + super clamped it to the tripod I was shooting from.

Here's the same set up but for the night launch of the Delta IV rocket launch a few days later.

Quick video I shot of media equipment lined up waiting to be sniffed for bombs by dogs before heading out to set up remote cams.
