Websites for multimedia storytelling.

->> I am looking for the best websites for multimedia storytelling, hopefully geared towards newspaper shooters, but anything in general will be great. Basically a Sportsshooter for video.

I am a newspaper shooter who has been doing some audio slide shows the last few years and has started to move into video for our papers website. So what are you folks looking at for your multimedia websites?

They can be sites with great multimedia on them, but I am looking more for the discussion of producing them.

thanks

->> Check out: http://www.dslrnewsshooter.com/. It's a blog run by Dan Chung, a VJ who shoots for The Guardian. Good mix of equipment reviews and interesting video pieces.

Also try www.cinema5d.com. A message board focusing on dslr videos and relevant discussions.

->> I second http://www.findingtheframe.com as a great learning tool for anyone wanting feedback on their multimedia storytelling. There is also a forum that you can post any question you might have. There are a ton of talented members, just like Sportsshooter, who will help you out. FtF launched a year ago and has hundreds of reviewed stories that can you can learn from. Brian Immel and I created Finding the Frame especially for newspaper photojournalists who need some help and feedback as they learn to transition to a multimedia workflow. Check us out, send in a link to be critiqued, and add your voice in the forum.
