| ->> I just had a quick question for anyone who has shot this venue before. I've seen shows here many times but this will be the first time shooting here. Should I expect any surprises in the venue release form that I'll need to sign? My release form for the artist is pretty standard fare but the venue has one as well and I won't be able to get a copy of it until I arrive and have to sign it. Again, I'm just trying to avoid any surprises at the 11th hour. Thanks (and yes, I already checked the Guide and came up blank if anyone wondered/cared). |

| ->> You will not be happy. They will hand you a release that says they or Live Nation will be able to use any and all photographs you take for any reason. Basically, they claim full license. So you can try and scratch that off and get by but it will be a battle. |

| ->> Grrrr. Thanks guys. That might explain why they won't email it to me in advance. I'll try scratching it and seeing what happens. Since I sign it at the ticket booth, I'll be in the mix of all the mayhem of walk up sales and maybe it just gets overlooked. I appreciate the heads up. |

->> I was very unimpressed with how the venue handled the whole thing. Its was very disorganized (which worked to my advantage). The venue release actually put some very ugly restrictions on what the artist could even do with the images. When I asked if the Marley group was aware of the release language, I was told "probably not". Wow, really?
Long story short, I took the release, struck out what I thought was nuts, signed it, then handed the release to the agent who, in the chaos of the moment, handed me my credentials and off I went. Just like they said to me...you should look it over carefully, irony is well, pretty ironic. |
