| ->> Has anyone ever sent in their D3 or D3s to be looked over by APS in Illinois? I'd like to send in my D3 for them to look over and make sure everything is okay. Ya know, "tighten loose screws" and things like that. It seems to be working fine but perhaps they could come across something. Was wondering what experiences have been and what the cost has been like. Thanks for the help. |

->> Joshua, just sent my D3 to Nikon, out of warranty, had the sensor cleaned, rubber guard on handle replaced it came unglued, complete camera cleaning, overall look over to be sure it was in good working condition etc. $129.99.
Never used any other repair station, perhaps I am wrong, but thought this price was OK.
PS the sensor was very dirty with a couple of very stubborn stains that I could not get off the sensor. |

| ->> Thanks for sharing. That's what I'd like to have them do to mine is clean the senor and a complete cleaning. That price is not much more than what APS quoted me over the phone. |

| ->> Josh, I've sent a few lenses into APS over the years to be repaired and have always been happy with their service. They are fast and will work with you to get your gear back as soon as possible. |
