| ->> I use prophoto.com for my blog. I do not like the pop up galleries that they use for storing your portfolio. And good companies out there have a design for both blog and portfolio all in one? |

->> I have noticed numerous people use WordPress and Blogger/BlogSpot for their websites. WordPress also has PhotoShelter integration available.
Right now, I'm in the process of getting a blog and website put together, just need some other thing out of the way, and I plan on using WordPress for my basis.
As a side note www.GraphPaperPress.com has some pretty nice themes and layouts available as well.

->> This is also a nice company to check out. I like how you can have a portfolio page with galleries and videos and a blog.

->> I recommend going with a Wordpress-powered site. Extremely easy to update, and it's open source so there are thousands of plugins you can use to customize the site.
I switched my site (http://www.brosher.com) over about a year and a half ago and I'm very happy with it.
If you go that route, I recommend SlidePress for the portfolio galleries portion: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slidepress/ |

| ->> +1 for GraphPaperPress - great looking sites that are updated regularly and they are constantly coming out with new designs. They are extremely easy to use and for the price it's hard to beat them. |

| ->> To set up your portfolio in Pro Photo Blogs that open in the same page you can add pages for each portfolio and then make them part of a drop down menu. |

->> I really enjoy APhotoFolio. They'll set you up with a very nice flash/html5 portfolio and a Wordpress blog. You'll look good on Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad, and Android. There's no upload or bandwidth limits. The support team is responsive and professional. After the setup fee, which is large, it's $17 a month.

There are many live demos on their site you can checkout. I'm also using APhotoFolio myself. |

->> Jonathan, I posted a similar question a few months ago after I switched to Photoshelter. Although my site still needs a LOT of work, mainly captioning everything like Brad Mangin. I think it was the best investment I've made yet when it comes to websites. I took several design course's a few years ago and created a beautiful site. Problem was it was in flash and when I brought my iPad, all it did was display a blank screen.
The thread I started asked those who use Photoshelter, to post a link to their site. Just to get an idea. All I can say is WOW! Most of the sites were OUTSTANDING! Here's a link to my post and check out some of the sites.

Hope this helps. |

->> One more plug for Photoshelter. It’s also my off-site storage center. I am in the process of uploading everything, so in case something fails like one of my many external hard drives. I can go to Photoshelter because it’s my off-site backup. You can’t go wrong with Photoshelter and the many on-line tutorials and webinars offered. Pays for itself.
I don’t know how many times my clients have commented on how clean and professional my site looks now. My motto to most of the designer’s I know is, “Flash kills…” When they asked why do I say that? I respond, “Flash kills your profit..” |

| ->> Paul -- the GPP/WP combo is the easiest I've ever used. Plus if you have any questions the GPP forum and support system are top notch. |
