OT-Android app for making notes

->> I've gone from an old blackberry to a new Motorola android phone. There's one important app I've yet to find for Android and I thought someone might have a suggestion.
With my Blackberry I used the notes function for all sorts of things; photo ideas, restaurants to try, passwords etc. One of the things I liked about it was that it synced thru the BB manager to Microsoft outlook, decent way to back things up, edit notes etc.
Now that I've got the Adroid, I'm having difficulty finding a comparable app. With my Ipod Touch I used Goodreader which I really like a lot, and it's great because it will read pdf's, import images and video, create text documents which can be opened on a pc. It's nice because I can sync it to any computer thru wi-fi and transfer stuff etc without needing itunes. Goodreader doesn't have an Android app tho. And I would like to use my phone for a lot of that stuff now instead of the ipod.
Any one have a good app that could do stuff like that? |

->> My Thunderbolt came loaded with Quick office which includes mobile versions of Word 97-2003 and Excel. There is AK Notepad by catch.com and springpad which work pretty well for me after I made the same switch

->> Mine came preloaded with Quickoffice also David. I've used it for Apple before and it's pretty good. My Android version is very limited tho, pretty much just a file browser. To create documents I'd have to buy the $14.99 pro version, which seemed a bit overboard. With Apple they've got the standard for $5 and the pro for $10. If I have to go with Quickoffice I will, but free or low cost is always more preferable. I'll take a look at Nitro Desk Christopher, thanks.

->> I'll toss out another vote for Touchdown. I work with a lot of people who use it daily and it has worked well.

->> I use an app on my iPhone called Evernote. Which I use for everything like you described. They have options for android, iOS, Mac, PC, and web. Plus it syncs through their own system into all devices.

->> I have been using ColorNote on my Droid X for a year and love it. It's pretty basic, but I use it all the time. Jon's suggestion for Note Everything may be worth checking out though.
