->> Mmm.... free pies...
I mean:
"The research fee for the time to find you a new-to-the-business photographer:
- with the talent and skills to get what your client needs without wasting your time and requiring you hire a professional to redo it, except this time with rush charges; but
- without that new photographer having any business sense or professional ethics that would prevent them from accepting this miserable and insulting deal;
... is 3X what it would cost to have a pro take the photos in the first place."
Something like that, right?
(...what kind of pies?) |

| ->> You probably wouldn't want the pies. They would have come from some newby farmer willing to give his meat away for nothing! |

->> You know, I wish they would just stop saying "...could lead to paid work in the future..." It's just insulting to try to sell that as anything that will really happen.
If the budget is small or the client is cheap and they manage to get the shots done this gig, why on earth does anyone think they'll change their tune next time around? Even if they CAN afford it, if they know they can get it for free they'll just keep the money. |
