| ->> My father died of a GBM, it is a horrible disease! The article said four tumors, very unusual for a glioblastoma! |

->> I'm here in West Palm Beach and have worked with Gary several times through the past few years. He's always gone above and beyond to help the community, has been the host for an annual golf tournament I chair for the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and never asks for anything. I'm pulling for The Kid...
Gallery from January of he and Hank Aaron being great role models to local kids in West Palm Beach

->> Dr. Sam Hassenbusch is the longest survivor I know of following diagnosis. Still, the GBM prevailed. http://www.asipp.org/SamHassenbuschIIIMDPHD.htm
It also claimed my Mom so I followed Dr. Hassenbusch's ordeal with personal interest. He is one of my most memorable assignment subjects.
I wish Gary Carter and his family well. He was a tough competitor, particularly against the Astros. |

->> I'm really saddened by this, I saw Gary play here in Montreal a few times (I was only 4 or 5 at the time) but I still remember the crowd cheering as he came up to the plate.
Best of luck to Gary and his family. |
