But, if you have the fastest CF (400x-600x)and SD (UHS-I SanDisk Extreme Pro) you can effectively double your download speeds over USB 2.0 UDMA readers: http://sportsphotoguy.com/usb-3-0-is-here-really/ Still, FW800 cards could beat these download speeds with the fastest CF cards a couple of years ago.
