Carry iPad on the job

->> For those of you that are carrying the iPad on the job and using it to edit. How are you carrying it? It really to small for a bulky bag any ideas would be great

->> I was packing for a flight last week and I had crazy idea. I use a Targus iPad portfolio cover and own an old 19th century Army officers leather courier pouch. I went and dragged it out of storage and slipped the pad in and it fit perfectly. I mean exactly, no slack or any thing. Carrying this instead of a big laptop bag (which is what I was doing before) is so nice.

The technical term for this bag is called a sabretache, which literally means sword satchel. Just google the word "sabretache" and there are numerous photos of examples. There are many leatherworkers who make reproductions of them as well.
