| ->> Anybody have a contact number or email for whomever handles photo credentials for the 2011 U2 tour? Specifically their performance in Oakland, CA on June 7th. |

->> Start with the arena PR staff and work back from there.
Some concerts are done on a national level (meaning the tour PR company), some on a local level with approval of a higher-up PR firm. |

| ->> Hey guys, sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone could comment on the shooting locations for the current U2 tour. I found some threads about past tours where it looked like photographers shot from the heart and ellipse, but couldn't find anything about the 360 tour. From the sample images I searched for, it looks like photographers were further away and not next to the stage. Can anyone shed some light on this? I am shooting this Friday in Anaheim and would like to plan accordingly. Cheers. |

->> Based on what I saw in Denver a few weeks ago as a spectator (sad that my first thought as I entered the stadium was "I wonder where the photographers are having to shoot from?"), the photographers shot from a platform/risers at the base of the leg of the "claw" that was off to the left of the stage as you are looking at it, which also put them outside of the outer ring of the stage set-up.
