|| SportsShooter.com: Member Message Board 5D Mark II and Magic Lantern Mike Cohea, Photographer Providence | RI | USA | Posted: 5:10 PM on 05.11.11 ->> Is anyone using the newest Magic Lantern software (compatible with firmware 2.0.4) for the 5d Mark II? Or with a BeachTek DXA-SLR as well? From what I understand, ML will disable the AGC completely while the BeachTek just tricks it using a tone in the left channel. Am I correct? I need to record an interview for broadcast and am always a little leery of relying on my the BeachTek for clean audio. I also have an H4N and don't mind syncing in post, but I have read it is possible to get broadcast quality audio solely using the BeachTek, yet I have never figured out how.
