->> Hi All,

Just seeing if anyone has ever had this issue happen, for I am going to take it in on monday, but wanted to brace myself for the worse...

Before the issue:
Camera working a ok
tethered to a Mac
shooting strobe, with an ear-bug to know when the flash is ready
first 12-14 subjects no problems...

first: the Auto focus wouldn't switch points

then it stopped communicating with the MAC

and now

In any mode:
All the top buttons except the light bulb wont work

In all but the CA and Green Box,
the Menu button on down wont work either...

Any ideas??

thanks for the time

->> It may very well turn out to be something more serious but if you're looking for DIY solutions, it sounds like it might be a stuck button. Try really working all the buttons. And take off the grip if you're using one because it could also be a bad connection between it and the body.
