| ->> So who was up with the early birds? I headed down to our local English pub, the Brickhouse Run, which hosted a group of about 40-50 (mostly) ladies for a watch party. A group of about 10 were up all night making fancy hats. |

Really enjoyed watching the wedding. Makes you proud to be British.

->> "JIM COLBURN: "Getting clotted cream for a real Cream Tea here in the Rio Grande Valley is, well, impossible..."
SISSY ALERT!"
Todd, Todd, Todd.
When, or if, you ever reach maturity you'll find that some of the finer things in life (a glass of Romanée-Conti, a real English cream tea, a slice of pizza from the Ray's at 6th Ave and 11th Street) are things to be savored and enjoyed.
You're probably happy with a six-pack of Keystone Light and a bucket from Kentucky Fried now but wait a while, there are better things out there. |

I dunno. I tend to focus on the company and the context rather than a particular label. A certain pizza place in a certain town is special not because the pizza is particularly great, it's because of the people I dined with and the stories shared.
I hope I never reach a level of maturity where quoting lists of obscure food/drink names becomes an important part of my "appreciation" of life... :-) |

->> I actually don't drink, Jim, but thanks for playing.
Also thanks for taking the time to put down your sissy beverage to write me a rather ironic email calling ME names and commenting on MY lack of class. LOL
Hey Jim, you've got some cream on your face. |

->> Only a fool would refer to a good cup of hot, brewed tea as a "sissy drink".
Unless, of course you believe that the pilots that defended Britain in the Battle Of Britain during World War II were "sissies" or that the British troops serving in Afghanistan, right now, are also "sissies".
"Sissies" that could kick said fool's ass from, say, Houston to Kolkata. |

Then you haven't had good tea.
Wars have been fought. Nations have fallen. Over tea... |

David, Jim and Todd... ya'll need to come to Champaign and dine and break bread on a fresh out the oven Papa Dell deep dish pizza. As Mr. Leeb said, "... you've never had really good pizza..." until you've savored one with your favorite adult beverage. Once you have, no matter where you go, all other pizza will be nothing more than tomato sauce on a cracker.
Once you have a bite or two I doubt you will even remember why you were there in the first place... LOL ... heck, you likely make a visit an annual ritual. |

To steal from Seinfeld, are you guys talking about Ray's, Famous Ray's, Original Ray's, Famous Original Ray's.... |

->> From AFP:
"Tea-drinking Britain experienced one of its biggest-ever power surges caused by a televised event as the equivalent of one million kettles were switched on after the royal wedding Friday.
The 2,400-megawatt boost at 12:40 pm after the carriage procession arrived at Buckingham Palace was the fourth-largest surge caused by a TV programme ever experienced by the National Grid electricity network.
The surge for Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton even outstripped the 1,800-MW leap after the marriage of William's parents Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981." |
